Stitching Dignity – Women-Led Livelihoods in the Sundarbans

A women-led initiative of Forum For Green Folk  that supports women in the Sundarbans to build sustainable livelihoods, economic independence and climate resilience.

Through skills training, entrepreneurship support, product development and market linkages, women are being supported to turn their local skills and resources into dignified income opportunities. The initiative promotes products such as honey, tea, jute and tote bags, handmade foods, eco-friendly stationery, and garments. By strengthening women’s skills, enterprises, and access to markets, Stitching Dignity contributes to resilient communities and sustainable livelihoods in the climate-vulnerable Sundarbans.
